COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
American Snuff Company Charitable Trust
Rather than focusing on a few signature projects, the American Snuff Co. Charitable Trust prefers to spread its financial support across a broad range of organizations that have a demonstrated ability to assist people in need.
The Trust also helps support several centers that care for the elderly, and is contributing $5,000 a year to help the Ave Maria Foundation build four assisted-living group homes on its Memphis campus by late 2011.
Through the donations of The Charitable Trust, a real difference has been made in the lives of countless people. The American Snuff Company will resolutely continue to seek out organizations that make a difference in the lives of those who need it and offer its financial support to help keep these groups successful.
